The Foundation Party is politics, evolved. The big D and big R have become obsolete and corrupt. We've lost our Republic. In an age where our problems are growing fast and technology is growing faster, we can’t afford to let special interests funnel billions into media campaigns of almost no substance.

The Foundation Party ends this waste by using truly independent funds to develop a new civic framework that turns politics on its head by making you the members responsible for its direction and focus. We are doing this by taking a fundamentally different approach to politics that brings together crowdfunding and crowdsourcing to develop deeply grounded and practical solutions that strike at the root of our problems.

The alternative is only a perpetuation of the status quo. Any attempts to repair the current parties or change the rules won't be enough to change the system of government. The Foundation Party is governance re-imagined  It’s time to bring the full potential of a connected society to bear.

Based on the three pillars of transparency, independence, and diversity we are creating a new civic framework that brings together data, models, and media to map out government and problems in a way that simply wasn't possible until the last decade. Combined with social networks, the Foundation will provide the most effective way to interact with leaders and discuss the issues in a way that is as public or private as desired. Together we can reclaim the Republic we've lost.

Our three year plan to do this is simple: connect a founding membership, build the tools and solutions, then elect leaders to carry these solutions to government by 2014. Take the pledge now and help start a revolution in politics!
